"The Hero's Journey" Notes

On the back of BOOK 1, 

make sure to have the following written:
 
IMPORTANT VOCABULARY
align: to line up or make parallel; to bring into cooperation or agreement with a particular group, party,cause, etc

archetype: a model after which other things are copied or repeated, like a pattern.
Tomorrow (Tuesday, November 15, 2016), BOOK 2 is due. Every page must be filled in with the Stage from "The Hero's Journey" and a quote from that stage. REMEMBER, all of your answers come from Act 1: Separation (The first page of the packet).

The Hero's Journey: Links and Notes to Help

HAPPY ELECTION DAY, EVERYONE!


I hope you are enjoying your day off. Please, follow the events of today's election. It is a historical one.

TOMORROW, you will need to have the following for class:

  • Vocabulary Journal with 12 entries, containing ALL FIVE (5) steps... 1) Word 2) Page Number 3) Context Clue Guess 4) Context Clue Evidence 5) Dictionary Check. Here is a link to a list of vocabulary words for The Lightning Thief: CLICK HERE.

Good evening, 6th Grade Reading Classes!

I will be returning to school on Monday, November 7, 2016. Thank you for your patience with my absence and for behaving well for your substitute teacher and for the other 6th grade teachers in my absence.
